Year of foundation: 1978
 

Origins and development: Arese, the headquarters of the CNOS-FAP Association of the Lombardy region, is part of the structures of the Salesian Centre of "San Domenico Savio", founded by Don Francesco Beniamino Della Torre in September 29, 1955 as a rehabilitation home; the same day that the Salesians succeeded in the National Association Cesare Beccaria of Arese. With their arrival first came the elementary school, then the middle school and finally, in 1978, with the advent of the National Centre of Salesian Institutions- Vocational Training and Updating (CNOS-FAP), the Vocational Education and Training as a response to the needs of a new reintroduction of young people in society.

Sectors and activities today: it promotes Initial Vocational Training activities.

It mainly operates in Automotive, Graphic, Mechanical, Woodworking, Tourist and Electric sector.

Origins and development: Since 1966 , the Salesian Institute of Sant'Ambrogio, due to the significant increase of students, has been divided into two autonomous educational communities: the first one is the "Sant'Ambrogio", for middle school  and classical and scientific high schools, while the second one is the "Don Bosco" for the Vocational Training Centre. Currently the VTC is associated with the CNOS/FAP body: adapting to the territory requests, it implements the training project, it ensures the constant updating of the educational paths, of the methods and the facilities.

Sectors and activities today: it promotes Initial and Continuing Vocational Training activities.

It mainly operates in Mechanical, Electrical and Graphic sector.
