International Projects

International activities and in particular the Erasmus+ Key Actions 1 have always been a pillar of the CNOS-FAP strategy to promote the professionalism of young people and key IeFP figures such as the quality, relevance, impact and attractiveness of its educational offerings.

The project aims at promoting the U.S. values of international cooperation, inclusivity, and social cohesion and express the goodwill and generosity of the American people while mitigating the harmful effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on vulnerable populations in Italy.

The RAINBOW project aims at promoting social inclusion and positive values through the introduction of non-formal education and methods into school education. The project will create a heterogeneous community who will be trained to carry out peace campaigns and to promote empathy and understanding.

The project aims at:

Consolidating the presence of Salesian VET Centres in Europe and strengthen international cooperation.
Developing the technical and operational capacities of key personnel working in VET through peer exchanges between different nationalities.
Increasing the relevance in Europe as a European network of partner and associated bodies working together to improve and disseminate the quality of Salesian VET both in formal and non-formal contexts.

The KA1 Project "SAAM - Supporting Alliance for African Mobility" is the first European mobility pilot project with Africa launched by the EU, managed by the Spanish organisation Centro San Viator and coordinated by the Spanish Mobility Organisation Asociación Mundus.

The project aims at developing an electronic tool for the self-assessment, monitoring, guidance of the teaching competence of VET teachers and trainers.
The methodology behind the development of the tools is based on the analysis of the teaching processes and action fields of VET teachers and practical trainers in companies, in the partner countries Lithuania, Italy and Germany. 

The main objective of this project is to increase the quality and effectiveness of VET provision through better integration of curricula and mobility.

The core of the project is the two pilot actions to be implemented in two relevant local contexts in Italy and Spain, meaning in Rome and in Madrid in business and professional training, workshops for self-entrepreneurship and L2 professional language courses. The activities aim at:

Consolidating a strategic and operational collaboration among socio-economic key actors (associations of employers, vocational training providers, employment services, local authorities, companies CoCs).
Increasing the effectiveness of existing labour market integration policies and tools adapting them to TCNs needs.
Standardizing and systematizing the “Cluster” methodology to make it replicable in other local contexts.

The Erasmus+ strategic partnership project "MedNC: a network for the successful integration of young NEETs” supports the network’s missions and objectives. It aims at sharing and promoting the successful experiences in the region through a process of training and exchanges of good practices, the creation, and diffusion of a guide of good practices and the presentation of common information related to early school leavers who benefited from the project.

The MOVES project was born starting from the analysis of the European situation and investigating the gaps existing in the Italian system regarding the understanding and application of the work-based model. Hence the idea to develop a mobility project for students that had as the main purpose the work-based model.

The project promotes mobility periods abroad as part of learning pathways that promote work-based learning. Mobility, integrated with WBL experiences, is important to (re)motivate VET learners preventing early school leaving and equipping students with the skills required by companies.

The project aims at developing an integrated approach implemented by a multi-actor international partnership to ensure pre-departure and post-arrival support for asylum seekers integration in EU countries. In particular, the call supports the following activities:

pre-departure activities to prepare third-country nationals for life in Europe.
post-arrival activities to implement effective Social inclusion and integration.
activities to support skills in host communities, especially for those working in the reception system and potential employers (attention is paid to women and children).

The project gathers universities, VET centres, companies and secondary schools to provide a methodical-practical toolkit for dual apprenticeship enhancement and to develop work-based learning for work-linked training.

The aim of the project is to develop criteria and quality standards for the implementation of Peer Reviews between European VET institutions and centres in order to improve their international activities.

The project promotes equal access to education and job opportunities and develop transversal skills of young people (aged 15-29) in Europe, through an innovative approach based on gamification techniques, integration, and employment services.

The project aims to strengthen the skills of experts and trainers in Europe to develop shared and effective strategies to reduce the learning difficulties of students in initial training. It will promote student’s integration into the labour market.

The project aims at sensitizing and familiarizing VET trainers to start using multimedia and information technologies in the everyday classroom.

The project foresees a short mobility period for 15 CNOS-FAP trainers. Trainers will acquire skills on different issues related to European VET systems.

The project foresees the realisation of 300 transnational internships in companies in 9 EU countries: Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Malta, Hungary. The internships are aimed at young people belonging to the Vocational Education and Training circuit aged between 15 and 21 years from 17 different Italian regions.

Cooking Around Europe is focused on students attending the hospitality and tourism course of the CNOS-FAP Federation. It concerns students attending the last year or those who graduated and obtained the CNOS-FAP Federation's VET centres degree the previous year.
