Year of foundation: 1967
Origins and Development: The Institute of Rebaudengo was a gift from Count Eugenio Rebaudengo, Senator of the Kingdom, Salesian Cooperator and a great admirer of the works of Don Bosco. The first stone was laid in the year of Don Bosco’s beatification (1929). On October 4th 1930, with the building still under construction, the first vocational courses started with 58 kids. The facility, the machinery and equipment, as well as the rich didactic plan and the teaching staff experience have suggested to open up more to the territory by launching a Vocational Training Centre, for the youth of the city and neighboring towns. In 1967, daytime classes begin in the Vocational Training Centre (CFP). The following year the VTC became the daytime central activity of Rebaudengo.
Sectors and activities today: it promotes Initial and Continuing Vocational Training activities.
It mainly operates in Automotive, Mechanical and Electrical sector.
