Origins and development: The educational-training path of the CNOS-FAP of Vallecrosia has gone on for over 10 years, with the aim of keeping alive the pedagogical tradition of the western Liguria town, in which Don Bosco himself wished to build the Salesian House in response to the needs of the youth of his time, starved for love and education.
Since the beginning of the learning experience, the team of trainers found in the preventive method of Don Bosco an enlightening and essential reference compared to the view and interpretation of the youth situation with which they were required to relate, to grasp the essential needs and set a constructive educational project. The core of this educational project can be identified with the awareness that every young boy needs to be first of all accepted  within a group of trainers and educators, attentive to his essential needs. Every trainer should be responsible for any kid allowing him to be recognized and loved for the originality of his history and, from this relation, the young boy should be educated and supported to open up to the reality that surrounds him with a life plan that will allow him to assume and carry out his social role.

Sectors and activities today: in these recent years the headquarters of Vallecrosia has provided training services in the following areas:

• activities aiming to compulsory training (right and duty to training and education) taking first training courses in the secretarial administration field;
• activities for Over 18 and unemployed and high school graduates;
• continuous training for employed workers;
• school dropout orientation and prevention.
