Year of foundation: 1952

Origins and development: The Salesian Institute dedicated to the Marchesa Teresa Gerini Torlonia opens its doors in 1952. Since the beginning it looks like a large complex dedicated to the training of young people coming from the outskirts of Rome. The name is a perennial tribute to the generosity of those who donated the land and greatly contributed in building the Centre. The Centre is located in an area with a high industrial density facilitating the interaction with the territory. Numerous workshops and electrical equipment installation and maintenance companies, often started by the former students of the Centre, offer to students, through special agreements, the possibility of internships with them. For many students the internship later becomes a concrete working possibility.

Sectors and activities today: it promotes Initial, and Higher Vocational Training activities not publicly funded.

It mainly operates in Mechanical, Automotive and Electric sector.
