Origins and development: In the 60s the vocational training courses and almost simultaneously the ITI for electronics began. In 1973 the first six evening vocational training classes began. In 1980, Information Technology makes an appearance as a refresher course in the Vocational Training Centre. The same year, in response to the territory demands, day classes of mechanical and electrical vocation for youth after middle school start. The early 80s saw the Centre having about 280 students attending every year. The initial six courses have now doubled to twelve courses. In the 90s the VTC has about three hundred students attending each year the initial and the continuing training: apprentices, high-school graduates, university graduates. In January 2005, the construction site to complete the school complex opens up: new classrooms and rooms welcome the students since September 2005.

Sectors and activities today: it promotes Initial, Vocational Training activities.

It mainly operates in Automotive, Mechanical and Electric sector.
