For more than thirty years the Comunità San Patrignano Cooperativa Sociale, later called San Patrignano, has welcomed boys and girls with serious drug problems in a completely free way and without requiring any contribution to their families or the State, giving them a home, healthcare and legal support, the opportunity to study, a solid vocational training, the opportunity to change their lives enabling social rehabilitation.
The Community was founded in 2004 in order to strengthen the experiences developed within the Community of San Patrignano in terms of education and Vocational Training. The Association operates within the Community in Coriano and Pergine Valsugana.

Collaboration CNOS-FAP – San Patrignano
On 25 October 2013, the CNOS-FAP Federation, the IUSVE and S. Patrignano signed a Memorandum of Agreement to cooperate in order to:
- promote a new culture of welfare enhancing more and more the educational dimension;
- contribute in guiding the new social inclusion policies at national and regional level;
- foster the innovation of models and training methods to ensure educational success and job placement of young people;
- develop “good practices” of intervention with young people and training of trainers.
