Federmeccanica, the Italian Federation of Metalworking Industries, was founded in 1971 to safeguard the interests of the Metalworking Industry in regards to work-related problems and in particular, relations with Trade Unions. Today there are 103 Metalworking Employers' Groups associated to Federmeccanica. These Groups are respective to their local Industrial Associations which in turn refer to Confindustria (the General Confederation of Italian Industry).

Collaboration CNOS-FAP - Federmeccanica

The CNOS-FAP Federation and Federmeccanica signed a Cooperation Agreement on April 20, 2010.
The Agreement provides for the mutual cooperation aimed at achieving the following objectives:

  • identifying and updating of technical professions;
  • fostering of guidance activities;
  • updating of educational curricula;
  • training of trainers;
  • qualification and re-qualification of the professionals.
